Abstract
Teatyn Rott-Zhebrousky and his textbooks on the Belarusian language Abstract: In the article basic biographical information about Professor Teatyn Rott-Zhebrousky is provided, observations on the structure, content, principles and features of two textbooks on the Belarusian language are given: “Grammar of the Belarusian language. Grammatical minimum” in 2 parts (1991–92) and “Historical grammar of the Belarusian language” (1992). The first of these textbooks was intended for studying Belarusian as a foreign language, the second – for studying at an in-depth, but more narrowly focused level.
