Abstract

The Song as an Artistic Text in Belarusian as a Foreign Language Classes Abstract The article is focused on the song material as an artistic text which has a huge didactic potential and allows the students to learn not only the language system but also the norms and rules of communication characteristic for the given culture as well as the language behavior in different life situations. The discourse touches upon the main functions performed by a literary text, the choice of the appropriate song, as well as the exemplary tasks which could be used as the basis for developing the skills of speaking, listening, writing, etc.
