Abstract
Perfect language profi ciency in traditional society was one of the assessments of a socially successful person. In the educational culture of the Belarusian people, signifi cant attention was paid to language training and education of speech culture. At all stages of age-related socialization of the individual, great importance was attached to actions aimed at ensuring successful mastery of language and speech means.
